Sunshine or Snowflake?
I love to make these tiny snowflakes, or do they look like sunshine? Some have a clear or blue bead in the center, these make me think of snow and the warm beads remind me of sunshine
Mermaid Tails
First I create a wire frame. Then I fill out with resin. I use several colors to get a very sexy mermaid tail! After the resin cures, I weave beads into the design.
Gold! Not really!
I know some of you want to see my oyster jewelry set in gold. But that's way expensive and gold craft wire isn't pretty. But BRASS is! Check out out!
Chesapeake Blue Dazzlers
You'll love these lab grown stones! Unexpectedly light weight! More sparkle to wear and to gift!
Oyster Ivory
I wanted to see what I could do with a big old oyster shell and my electric grinder. (I used to make stained glass, that's why I have a grinder!)
I got the grinder out of storage and got to work. It is very relaxing to shave and shape a shell. I think the end result is very similar to ivory. But there's a Bonus! Oyster Shells are sustainable and renewable. I coat the finished piece in clear resin because of the shine! I love the shine!

Tree of Love
This design was inspired by a wire weaver that I follow on YouTube, Lan Anh. I added some beads to her design and I'm really really pleased with how it came out. Thanks to my friend Lori for suggesting for your love as the title for this piece!
Hearts and Crushed Shells!
I'm working on some hearts. I love to make hearts and I always look for a reason to do it. Valentine's Day is just a good excuse. I hope you'll enjoy these.
Crushed Oyster Shells and Fluid Art
Check out these earrings. I make them using resin, crushed oyster shells, some sparkle and pigment and then some glitter and a little bit of a swirl with a push pan. It's hard working really little and I'm learning. This really does take some patience. Not sure I have it. Enjoy!
My Favorite Little Oyster
I've been working hard on my skills and I hope I'm getting better- I'm certainly NOT getting faster! It seems that I always want to stretch out and try new ideas! I hope you like this tiny oyster that comes from the Great Wicomico River - my heart!
Oyster Necklaces
I've been making more oyster necklaces! They are a favorite of mine and the thing that started all of this!
Blue Water Cuff
This is for that casual sparkle everyone needs! It's beautiful and elegant but designed to make that comfy T- shirt and jeans look as outstanding as they feel!
Hard crab jewelry (crab net necklace)
A crab is pretty smart as you'll find out when you try to catch them with a net. I loved messing around with a crab net as a kid!
Hard crab jewelry (crab pot wire cuff)
I made some crab jewelry! First I made a cuff and wove it together with copper wire in the style of a crab pot- I hope! Then I added a tiny crab that I made using a tiny crab sluff that I found!
Oyster Earrings
The Urbanna Oyster Festival is here! Just a couple of day away! I made 40 pair of earrings yesterday! Finished them- put the ear wires on and set them on their display cards this morning!
We'll be down by the pool in festival village in Urbanna! Glorious weather is predicted! Come see us!
(Chesapeake) Swiss Blue Topaz
This is a man-made stone. But I think it's lovely and it's very blingy and it's light and it's just a lot of fun to wear. You can wear this without needing a bodyguard to go with you.
Poquoson Seafood Festival
We are having such a great time! The Poquoson Seafood Festival is a wonderful event! Everyone is so nice! Saw me first oyster necklace that's want make be me! Pretty cute too.
They had fireworks at the end! It was great! First time I've written a jacket in the booth and the cool felt good.
Do yourself a favor and come by tomorrow or Sunday! We're set up near the big stand where you but the official Poquoson Seafood Festival shirts. BTW, they are so cool! They've got herons and workboats (deadrise) on them - some of my favorite things!
We are spending three nights on a houseboat. The picture in this post is from the back porch!
Tiny Oyster Necklaces
I love making oyster necklaces. That's how all this started, you know. Do you know that it's really hard to make a elegant and minimalist necklace. It's really easy to get fancy and swirly and get carried away. I have to reign myself in so that I don't put too much stuff on the oyster shell.
What a great weekend!
This weekend we showed our oyster jewelry at Bethpage Camp Resort and in Williamsburg at their monthly Second Sunday Celebration! We met so many fun people and reconnected with others.
Thank you all for being so great and so supportive! We really appreciate all the kind words and your patience.
We'll be at the Poquoson Seafood Festival this weekend. I hear it's a really fun festival! Come to see us and visit a while if you're there.
